Skip the foil and enjoy these baked potatoes that are soft and fluffy on the inside and extra crispy on the outside. This is the best and the easiest way to bake a potato.

Ingredients
•Russet Potatoes (medium-large)
•Olive oil
•Salt and pepper
•Parchment paper
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Wash and scrub the potatoes under cold running water to remove any dirt or debris. You can use a scrubbing brush if needed. Dry potatoes with paper towel or a clean cloth.
3. Using a fork, poke 6 holes in each potato. This allows steam to escape while baking and prevents the potatoes from bursting.
4. Drizzle a bit of olive oil over each potato. You can use your hands to rub the oil evenly over the potato skins.
5. Season the potato skins with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Place the seasoned potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. This prevents the potatoes from sticking to the baking sheet and makes cleanup easier.
7. Bake the potatoes in the preheated oven for approximately 45 minutes on each side, or until the skin is crispy and the inside is soft. To check for doneness, insert a knife or fork into the potato. If it slides in easily without resistance, the potatoes are done. You may want to flip the potatoes halfway through the baking time to ensure even cooking.
8. Once the potatoes are done, remove them from the oven. Now, add your favorite toppings! You can get creative with your choices. Here are some ideas for both regular and sweet potatoes:
