Homemade is ALWAYS better. These buns are soft and fluffy, and taking the extra step to make your own buns will make your burger night even more special!

Instructions
•2 TB active dry yeast
•1 cup and 2 TB warm water, approximately 110°F
•1/3 cup avocado oil
•1/4 cup sugar
•1 large egg, beaten
•1 tsp salt
•3 1/2 cups AP flour, reserve 1/2 cup for rolling dough
Topping •1 egg yolk
•1 TB water
•2 TB sesame seeds
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 425°F
2. Add the yeast and the warm water to a mixing bowl or large bowl. Add the oil and the sugar, then let stand for 5 minutes or until there is a foamy appearance.
3. Whisk the egg in. Then, slowly mix in the salt and 3 cups of flour.
4. If you have a mixer, use a dough hook to knead the dough for about 3-5 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic looking. If you don't have a mixer you can knead by hand on a floured surface until you achieve the same consistency. Do not let the dough rise.
5. Evenly divide the dough into 8 pieces and shape them on a floured surface into balls. Still do not let the dough rise.
6. Place the 8 balls of dough on a greased and lined baking sheet. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
7. Whisk together the egg yolk and water to create an egg wash. Once it has been 10 minutes, brush the buns with the egg wash using a pastry brush, then top the buns with sesame seeds.
8. Bake until golden, about 8-12 minutes.
